Happy Thanksgiving

Banner Blessings

Truly Grateful

The first card I saw on Stampin' Up webpage.  I recreated and decided to change it up a little bit.
In the world of paper crafting, there is no shame in copying. CASEing is an easy way to come up with a project quickly, and there's more than one way to CASE. You can copy a project exactly, or you can switch out some of the elements to adapt it for different needs.

For those new to CASEing, here it is in a nutshell:
  1. Keep your eyes open for ideas-- the annual catalog, a friend's blog. Pinterest, and more!
  2. Keep your phone or camera handy to snap a pic.
  3. Start asking yourself questions to get the creative juices flowing questions to get the creative juices flowing. Questions like.
  • What elements of this project are appealing to me ?
  • What do I like about the techniques used?
  • What about it would challenge me as an artist?
  • What shapes, stamps, colors or embellishments could I substitute?
4. With your answers in mind, sit down in your craft space to experiment.
5. Start creating, copying any or all elements of the inspiration project.

So that is how I came up with the second card. It was fun , fast and easy.

For All Things Stamp Set

Say Hello To Autumn !

Today I have Two cards to share. As a Demonstrator  once every three month we receive a magazine called Stampin' Success.  They have ideas that  highlight different stamp sets. In the October  magazine they highlighted the stamp set "For all things".    The first card is from the  Stampin' Success magazine.  The second card  I used the same stamp set.   I stamped the background image in Sahara Sand ink on Whisper white card stock . I used Stampin' Up markers to color the image with Blackberry and Crushed Curry. I also used Blackberry bliss marker to color the thank you image.  I embossed the Blackberry Bliss Card Stock with Tiny Triangles.
It is a wonderful stamp set and it was fun to create with.

Freaky Friends Candy Bar Wrap

Here are the Supplies you will need to make Candy Bar Wrap!

Click on the item above to go to my On Line Store.

First Step

You will Need to cut your DSP  cut to 6 1/2 by 5 1/2.

Put Sticky Tape on one side and the bottom of DSP paper.
Pull the Sticky pink off. Then Fold the long side with out the stick tape over the Candy Bar first . Don't let the bottom stick together yet.  Then fold the side with the stick strip over on top of the other piece of DSP.   Pull the candy bar out of paper.
It should look like this after you fold the sides over. pull the candy bar out.
With the punch you will punch a hole just big enough to slip the ribbon in. After you punch the slits add ribbon. Ribbon is about 21 inches.
As you insert the candy bar the ribbon will slowly go down with the candy bar.
After you push the candy bar all the way in, tie a not at the top and your dun.
Supper easy and fun. All my kids are wanting  to give one to there friends for Halloween !

Flower Patch Note Book

One thing I love about Stampin' Up is that all their products coordinate. The second thing  I love about Stampin' Up is there Catalog.  They have the best card ideas. When I see a cute card  I just have to make it.   One of the ideas that I just love in this years Catalog is on page 155.  It is a cute notebook using Photopolymer stamp set Flower Patch .
First Take your your Dots & stripes Decorative mask & put it on top of your notebook. I taped my stencil down on the sides to keep it in place.
Then take your Stampin' Sponges and your Whisper White Craft Stampin' Pad & dab the sponge on the notebook. It will look like this.

Once you have covered the lines with ink, remove the Mask & let dry.  Next start stamping & cutting out the Flowers.
Once you have all the pieces cut out & the white linse are dry on your notebook. You can now put it together.

This is what it should look like when you are done. Super cute & fun to make!
I hope this has inspired you to check out the Catalog & find a card you like, get all the supplies & try making it. You can always put your own twist on it.
